A month since the official announcement, the team behind the popular Substratum theme engine has released rootless custom theme support for Android Oreo devices. Theming on stock Android will now be possible using the Andromeda add-on for Substratum, but users will have to connect their devices to a PC to make use of the theme engine.
As of now, the Andromeda add-on supports:
- Full system dark theme
- Per-app themes
- A minimal lock-screen theme
- Custom navigation bar icons
- Emoji/font customization per-app
- Quick setting tile customization
